We're getting very excited about our two regattas next month (Vets Championships on 3rd August, and main regatta with all race categories on 4th August). We're going a bit posh with the catering this year; as well as the usual cakes, fruit, pasta etc we will be serving the delicious local delicacy of scallop and crispy bacon brioche baps. Keeping five gigs in tip-top condition is pretty much a full-time job, so we must thank our dedicated maintenance team, led by Jodie, for all the behind-the-scenes work they do to keep our plastic boats sparkling and our wooden boats race-ready. Jodie will soon be attending a boat building course at Lyme Regis Boat Building Academy so we will be even more self-sufficient in terms of boat maintenance.
